Before the storm

The G2 does look a sad sight in this state but the fun is only just beginning for this project. The body will have to be separated from the pedestal, the speakers will have to opened and fully cleaned and the whole of it will need a good scrubbing and polishing. A piece of advice for any would-be restorers of vintage audio equipment - the living room is not the best place to do this kind of work!
